Cakes by the Norwoods is a family-owned business located in Mary and Elmer's home in Southport, North Carolina at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Serving all of Brunwick County, including Bald Head Island, St.James Plantation, Orton Plantation, and Oak Island, they also deliver to Wilmington and surrounding areas. They have enjoyed working with brides and their special wedding cakes for over 20 years, but also creating cakes for other occasions.

      Mary has a home economics degree from High Point University and teaches basic and advanced cake decorating through the local community college. Elmer helps out and contributes with original art work. He'll paint and sculpt just about anything you want on a cake.
