Different choices of flowers make original wedding cakes. Instead of columns, this one had 3 wine glasses upside down.
All white icing is pretty; with white icing flowers and decorations. This one used a small dome cake for the Bride and Groom to sit on and also a square cake for the bottom tier. The columns of each tier gave a place to decorate each cake top with icing flowers.
Icing daisies add color to this 3 tier wedding cake.
Tall columns give a place to add flowers, cake toppers, or a fountain with running water. Lace work made with royal icing is used in the decorations and around the plate.
An elegant way to use black on a wedding cake. Just enough color to make that special statement. (Could really use any color you wish.) This cake has columns separating each tier with live flowers between each and on top.
This cake had various colored small icing flowers all over the cake and also going around the columns. The domed cake topper gave this cake a different look. Arranged in front of a mirror gave the cake a special look.
